Products Free of Hazardous Substances—Implementation of RoHS at PIhe EU "Restriction of Hazardous Substances" (RoHS) Directive 2002/95/EC, which was translated into German law by the “ElektroG” statute (Elektro- and Elektronikgerätegesetz), aims at promoting health and environmental protection.At PI, conversion to RoHS-compliant products is proceeding rapidly to meet the deadline. Even though the progress of RoHS implementation depends to a high degree on our suppliers, we plan to deliver RoHS-compatible products from the beginning of 2006.
