Reliability Study of Multilayer Piezoelectric Actuators presented at Euspen ConferencePiezoelectric multilayer actuator technology is an essential tool in ultra-precise nano-positioning. To explore new applications it is always helpful to specify and know the operating limits of these ceramic actuators. This work presents a calculation tool for the DC-signal-lifetime of PICMA® co-fired multilayer actuators as a result of an extensive study at different temperature and humidity conditions.
