- 1918 HESCHO Trust, 1000 employees, world-leader in electro-ceramics at the time

- 1943 Ceramic processing know-how transferred to Japan
- 1945 KWH (Keramische Werke Hermsdorf) founded
- 1952 First PZT materials (PIEZOLAN ™) manufactured at KWH
